Rusty tips

1) The Rustler's stock suspension is satisfactory for racing, maybe even small jumps, but, if you want to ride with the big boys, you will need big bores.  I have them all around, and i couldn't be more happy with them.  My suspension is near bulletproof.  With big bores, a carbon fiber front shock tower, and two stage shock pistons, you can't go wrong.
2) You can help your soldering joints hold better by putting hot glue over them when you are done.

I ordered my Traxxas Rustler on the 25th of august.  I got it from Tower Hobbies three days later on the 27th.  I payed $150 for the car, it was RTR.  I am thoroughly pleased.  I also got 2 batteries, they are Duratrax piranha 1500's, i got a charger, an MRC superbrain 959, top of the line! And i got a wide front bumper for it.  It has saved me countless times!

This is one bullet proof rc car. I would have to recomend traxxas to anyone who is interested in the hobby. It may not be the fastest, but you can definately make it race worthy. I enjoy hill climbing, and it is definatly one of the most fun things to do with your rc car. I would recommend a high torque motor for doing so.

This is a front view of my new big bore shocks.  These things do not run cheap, but they are definatly worth it.  They make your shocks absolutly bullet proof.

The picture on the left here is the other Futaba decal I have on the body.  It is a bit off center, but i think it looks really cool.
